WHAT IS ICON?
An innovation that preserves the nature of the tooth.
ICON is an innovative procedure used in aesthetic and restorative dentistry. It removes white spots, decalcification and early carious lesions without drilling, without pain and without interfering with the tooth structure.
The technique is based on infiltrating the lesion with a special high-fluidity resin, which penetrates the porous enamel structure, halts the carious process, evens out the tooth colour and restores the natural translucency of the enamel.
No drilling
No drill, no stress – ideal for people with dental anxiety.
A painless procedure
Usually no anaesthetic needed. A comfortable experience throughout.
A fast result
Spots disappear immediately or become significantly less visible.

WHEN DO WE USE ICON?

Enamel demineralisation after orthodontic treatment – the most common indication for ICON.

Early decay
On smooth and contact surfaces – halting the process without drilling.

Fluorosis
Spots caused by excessive fluoride exposure – evening out the colour without grinding.

Uneven colour
Aesthetic irregularities of enamel colour that disturb the harmony of the smile.
THE PROCEDURE

5 steps – 20–40 minutes.

Cleaning the surface
Thorough cleaning of the tooth before application.
02
Preparing the enamel
Gentle preparation of the enamel with a special gel.
03
Applying the ICON resin
Infiltrating the lesion with a high-fluidity resin.
04
Light curing
Polymerising the resin with a curing lamp.
05
Polishing
Final polishing – the result is ready. Teeth gain a uniform colour with the natural enamel structure intact.
